Located in Terminal C of Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, Malevich Business Lounge is a large-scale airport hospitality space inspired by the Russian avant-garde and the artistic legacy of Kazimir Malevich.
Opened in January 2020, the lounge spans approximately 3,183 square meters (34,262 square feet) and accommodates up to 654 guests. The space includes dining areas, business facilities, relaxation zones, and amenities designed for international travelers.
At the time of its opening, the lounge was presented by its architects as one of Europe's largest airport business lounges, reflecting the scale and ambition of the project.
The interior architecture was developed by M+R Interior Architecture, an internationally recognized design studio based in the Netherlands, following an international architectural competition.
Inspired by Kazimir Malevich and the principles of Suprematism, the design translates abstract geometric compositions into a contemporary architectural environment.
Distinctive ceiling structures, sculptural architectural forms, integrated lighting, and carefully organized hospitality areas establish a recognizable visual identity throughout the lounge.
The circular layout provides panoramic views of the airport apron, while the arrangement of dining, business, and relaxation areas combines the architectural concept with the functional requirements of a major international airport.
NEODECOR™ participated in the realization of custom architectural and interior elements for Malevich Business Lounge at Sheremetyevo International Airport.
The project involved the integration of custom-manufactured interior components within a complex architectural environment designed to meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of a large-scale airport hospitality facility.
