Located in Terminal B of Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, Kandinsky Business Lounge is a premium airport hospitality environment inspired by the artistic legacy of Wassily Kandinsky, one of the pioneers of abstract art.
Opened in June 2018, the lounge spans approximately 1,520 square meters (16,361 square feet) and offers dedicated areas for dining, relaxation, and business travelers.
The project combines contemporary airport hospitality design with artistic influences, creating a distinctive passenger environment within one of Russia's major international airports.
The interior architecture was developed by JPA Design, an international design studio based in London, drawing inspiration from the abstract compositions and expressive visual language of Wassily Kandinsky.
The architectural concept translates artistic principles into a contemporary interior through geometric forms, carefully selected materials, integrated lighting, and coordinated architectural details.
The design incorporates distinctive reception areas, decorative wall treatments, wood-slatted ceiling features, and custom hospitality elements that establish a recognizable architectural identity.
Dedicated dining, business, and relaxation zones are organized to provide comfort, functionality, and visual continuity throughout the lounge.
